2017 LAWTE Conference

The Laboratory Animal Welfare Training Exchange (LAWTE) biennial conference will be held in Hershey, Pennsylvania on June 13-16, 2017. The conference will take place at the beautiful Hershey Lodge in conjunction with the Comparative Medicine Department of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. LAWTE is very excited to be able to host this conference in Hershey PA, which is a unique combination of resort and local attractions associated with an academic research institution excited to help provide a premium educational program for attendees. You'll never run out of things to do in Hershey. From thrilling roller coasters at Hersheypark, to the splendor of Hershey Gardens, you'll find endless fun and attractions in Hershey The Sweetest Place On Earth! Hershey is conveniently located in driving or train distance from many mid-Atlantic and Northeastern cities, and has an active local airport with frequent flights to major regional hubs. Conference room rates for 6/13-6/15 are Queen/Queen $199.00, King $169.00.
