Penn ULAR Lab Animal Surgical Seminar & Vendor Fair

This educational seminar will include a variety of presentations offered by experts in the field of surgical practices and procedures in laboratory animals. The theme this year is “Something Old, Something New”. During the morning and afternoon sessions you will have a chance to hear from veterinarians, researchers, and vendors on the topics of anesthesia, pre/post operative care, treatments, surgical techniques, and industry related products, as well as regulatory aspects regarding small and large animals. Presentations will range from 15-30 minutes in length throughout the morning and afternoon. Attendees will enjoy a buffet lunch between 12–1:00pm and will be able to visit the vendor tables throughout the day. All speakers will be advertised so attendees may attend those sessions that are of interest to them. Those attending the event will be researchers, veterinarians or other laboratory animal professionals who work with small or large animals and who may provide surgical care, perform treatments, participate in surgical techniques, or administer anesthesia. Registration is required.
