Consider nominating someone for one of the following awards:

improvement of the care and quality of animals used in research.
Nathan R. Brewer Scientific Achievement Award - for major and repeated
scientific contributions to the fields of laboratory animal science, laboratory
animal medicine, or comparative medicine by a researcher over the age of 40.
Pravin N. Bhatt Young Investigator Award - To an investigator, younger
than 40 and who has been active in comparative medicine for fewer than ten
years, in recognition of outstanding research work.
Joseph J. Garvey Award - for contributions and accomplishments in
administration, education or support of programs related to the care, quality or
humane treatment of animals used in biomedical research.
George R. Collins Award - for outstanding contributions to training and
education in laboratory animal science.
Technician of the Year Award - to an individual whose career is primarily
in animal care with minimal supervisory responsibilities and who has exhibited
an interest in education and training as a means to become more proficient in
the field.
