Arizona has had a branch of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science since July of 1985. For those not familiar with this organization, AALAS was set up to benefit those involved with laboratory animal science and serves as a clearing house for the collection and exchange of information on all aspects of the care and management of laboratory animals.
